Founded by David and Irina Lyashevskiy in the heart of San Diego, our organization has a unique connection to the global refugee crisis. As former refugees themselves, David from Ukraine and Irina from Russia, they bring a personal understanding of the challenges faced by those escaping conflict and crisis. Witnessing the impact of war and disaster, they were compelled to establish United Hearts and Minds to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
